The Bazaars of Sholinghur

I like those evenings; I still love them. Who will not?. My school days, like everyone of us, were very exciting. I must be studying 5th standard then. Me and my pal Vijay we used go together that day was no different. The Bazaar was crowded so much as it was festival time and town is breathing slowly because of sudden arrival of tons of new people from surrounding villages. Lots of new faces; faces filled with oil and sweat; faces coated with fair and lovely and ponds talcum powder; faces with attractive eyebrows with thick mascara lines; Ears loaded with kilograms of golden earrings and duplicate ones.Shirtless men; men with their bullocks, buffaloes, goats and not to mention their dry eye and lips.Children holding their parents hands amazed by town`s moving vehicles; neatly dressed school children with a heavy backpack and a fluorescent lunch bags. Me and vijay suddenly felt lost in that new crowd. On seeing an Ice cream parlor we hopped in with a huge sigh of relief and asked for arun ice cream. After finished eating we kept walking towards Subba Rao`s street. A street with beautiful garden houses; houses with high walls; Indian bank and of course, girls with vanilla faces. If we were lucky we can get wink from them or wink at them  and they`ll respond with a smile. A rich aroma of mutton biryani came from Manimekala's hotel which is at the entrance of the street. We stared at each other`s face and smiled; its our plan that one day we will earn a lot and have mutton biryani together.Even the street which used to be free of vehicles and unknown faces was with new souls. So instead we turned back and headed towards perumal koil street and post office street. The crowd actually slowly started attracting us. We saw a new street guava shop by a village grandma. We asked the prize she told that she`ll give three fruits for 1 rupee instead of two for we are school children

Gangster Squad

Gangster squad tells the story of undercover cops who under the leadership of John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) hunt down mafia kingpin Mickey Cohen's operations and finally nailing him to the jail. Subplot tells the relationship between Jerry (Ryan Gosling) and Grace (Emma Stone) who's a lady love of  Mickey cohen. Sean penn who plays a role of cold and ruthless mobster was terrific. Josh Brolin gives a memorable performance as Seargent O'Mara. GIovanni Ribisi's lives up to his original role. Overall a great entertainer for a  weekend.

Oscars 2013

My favorite Daniel Day Lewis did it again; for the third time. He won Academy award for Best Actor in a Leading role for his gripping performance in Lincoln, after his wins for There will be Blood and My Left Foot. Jennifer Lawrence deservedly wins Best actress in a leading role award after narrowly missing Oscar for Winter’s Bone (2011). Congrats to Ang Lee (Life of Pi); I expected Lincoln and Steven Spielberg to win Oscar; Give me a Break Hollywood, best movie Academy for Argo!. Django and Quentin wins; very deserving. Chris Waltz wins Oscar for the ( Supp. Actor, Django) 2nd time; both the times in Quentin's movies. Anna Hathaway (Supp. Actress) does it for Les Miserables. I feel sad for Joaquin Phoenix on missing Oscar after a breathtaking performance in "The Master".

Punch-Drunk Love

Punch-Drunk Love

One Beautiful morning a not-so-lucky loner a car salesman(Barry) gets a delivery of Harmonium from someone unknown. The red car delivers the harmonium; after delivering the red car flips and crashes before his eyes. From the moment Harmonium arrives everything changes in his life. He meets love of his life, a girl named Lena. The red car accident may just be a representation of his trapped-self resurfacing from its deeply buried state. Barry stands for himself against his seven abusive sisters; Barry goes to meet the guy ' a mattress man' who threatens him since Barry withdrew his subscription for phone-sex from mattress man's single-mother blonde sister. Love brings out a man Barry was always longing for; a man with steel balls. Love comes like a Harmonium; at first it might appear as a puzzle. But that's how it happens. Embrace the Love with your two hands. Like Dostovesky said 'Those who go through Hell, go through that phase because either they don't love anyone or never let anyone to love them". You are incomplete without love. Find your love. If you find one never let him/her go!.

Watch "Punch-Drunk Love" a masterpiece by Paul Thomas Anderson. A Great Movie. Terrific performance by Adam Sandler.

To My Sister Amanat...

Dear Sister,

I don't know your name; I don't have to. I am terribly sorry and ask your forgiveness as a representative of this corrupt, irresponsible, dangerous, deeply infected dumb society. Those Monsters/zombies/flesh thirsty animals are the byproducts of this society; they are like cancer cells, an unwanted outcome; but alas we end up generating them. They can't see woman as a fellow human being; they are trained to see them like a narcotic drug or a flesh. Their family have not taught them to treat woman equally. Their family teaches them to see woman as their beck and calls.

I don't know what was in running through your mind when you hopped in to that ill-fated bus after seeing a magical "life of Pi" movie.You would have been a good doctor, saved lives and served society. But life changes in seconds; these monsters failed to see a mother; sister; or at least friendly human in you. Those blood-thirsty animals just saw a prey in you, jumped and pounced on it;
I wonder,in a brutal atrocity over that lasted 32km of travel out of six wasn`t there even a single soul that had a second thought of letting her go?!probably, they don't have soul. How can you expect a soul from wolves? What kind of state are we living in? They are the real menace to the society. Do you think they deserve a fair deal???
My heart weeps for you. You were a brave fighter and have left a lot of questions for Indian state to answer.
May your soul rest in peace.

your incapable brother.

Monday Blues!

Monday Blues

Why do we hate Mondays is because of the fact that we crave for weekend too much; ain't it?. But really Monday is not that bad. you can start things again from where you have ended it; you can rejuvenate your mind from a lazy weekend and more importantly you`ll be more energetic on Monday; so you can convert it from a less productive day to a  most fruitful one of the week. In the process you gain momentum for the whole week on monday itself. So sacrifice your sleep; get up early; go for a morning walk follow it with a very short workout.Meditate and plan your day mentally while meditating. Take a shower. Have a good breakfast which include cereals; milk and fruits. Wear a fresh clothes and nicely polished shoes. Tie your laces and run to your workbench. Greet everyone on the way. Say hello to a gardener. When you reach your closet or workbench. Start working immediately. Procrastinate  your facebooking and mail checking for at least an hour or do it in your lunch time. Don`t become a slave of your laptop; be a boss of your laptop. Keep working; Because time and tide wait for no men. Save your best on Monday; go and deliver. Seize the day. Have a Great Monday.
